PumpSwap — Program ID & Overview

PSwapMdSai8tjrEXcxFeQth87xC4rRsa4VA5mhGhXkP

PumpSwap is the DEX built by Pump.fun to receive graduated tokens. When a Pump.fun bonding curve reaches its threshold, liquidity migrates to a PumpSwap pool where trading continues as a standard AMM.

How it works

PumpSwap operates as a constant-product AMM (x*y=k) specifically designed to receive Pump.fun graduated tokens. The migration process:

  1. Pump.fun bonding curve reaches its SOL threshold.
  2. Liquidity (SOL + remaining tokens) is automatically deposited into a PumpSwap pool.
  3. Trading continues on PumpSwap with standard AMM mechanics.

Pool structure

Each PumpSwap pool contains:

AccountDescription
Pool stateAMM state with reserves and fee configuration
Token vaultSPL Token account for the graduated token
SOL vaultWrapped SOL account for the SOL side
LP mintMint for liquidity provider tokens

Key instructions

InstructionDescription
CreatePoolCreates a new pool (called during graduation)
BuyBuy tokens with SOL
SellSell tokens for SOL
AddLiquidityAdd liquidity to an existing pool
RemoveLiquidityRemove liquidity and burn LP tokens

Fee structure

PumpSwap charges trading fees on each swap. A portion goes to liquidity providers and a portion to the protocol.

FAQ

Can I create a PumpSwap pool manually? PumpSwap pools are primarily created during Pump.fun token graduation. Manual pool creation may not be supported for arbitrary token pairs.

How is PumpSwap different from Raydium? PumpSwap is a simpler AMM optimized for Pump.fun graduated tokens. Raydium offers more pool types (AMM V4, CLMM, CPMM) and supports arbitrary token pairs. Both are routed through Jupiter.

Can I add liquidity to a PumpSwap pool? Yes. After graduation, anyone can add or remove liquidity from a PumpSwap pool using LP tokens.
