How to use this data

Set your transaction’s compute unit price based on the percentile that matches your urgency:

  • p50 for normal transactions
  • p75-p95 during congestion or for time-sensitive transactions

Methodology

Fees are sampled from getRecentPrioritizationFees every 30 seconds. The API returns fee data from the last 150 slots. Percentiles are calculated from all non-zero fees in that window.

FAQ

Why are fees sometimes zero? During low congestion, many transactions land without priority fees. The p25 is often zero during quiet periods.

Should I always set priority fees? During normal network conditions, a small priority fee (1,000-10,000 micro-lamports per CU) is recommended for reliability. During congestion, higher fees are necessary.
