Enter a Solana address to check if it is an executable program and look up its name. The tool queries the on-chain account and matches it against a database of known programs.

How it works

Enter a base58-encoded Solana address.
The tool calls getAccountInfo to check if the account exists and is executable.
If executable, it matches the address against a database of known program IDs.
Returns the program name, owner, and verification status.

FAQ

How do I know if an address is a program? If getAccountInfo returns executable: true, the address is a deployed program. Regular accounts (wallets, token accounts) have executable: false.

What if the program is not in the database? The tool still shows the on-chain account info (executable, owner, data size). The program name will show as “Unknown” if it is not in our index. You can check Solana Explorer for additional details.

Can programs be upgraded? Yes. Programs owned by the BPF Loader (BPFLoaderUpgradeab1e11111111111111111111111) can be upgraded by their upgrade authority. The program ID stays the same but the code changes.
